SWHS Scioly Team at States 2024

Who Are We

Founded in 2003, the South Windsor High School Science Olympiad is a group of motivated and bright students at South Windsor High School who compete in the nation's most prestigious science tournament. Every year, we assemble two teams and compete at invitational and state tournaments. Science Olympiad is challenging and requires great amounts of dedication and effort from every student. We give up our free time to study science because science inspires us and motivates us.

Our Mission

We push our intellectual limits in the pursuit of knowledge and joy. Throughout the years, we have won numerous tournaments due to the hard work of our team. Recently, our team has won the Connecticut State Science Olympiad tournament and represented Connecticut at the national tournament for the third year in a row. Our success is a direct result of the work every team member puts in everyday after school. We have also crafted a nationwide alumni network of scientists and engineers who advance the frontiers of science and technology everyday.

The team has won 1st place the CT State Science Olympiad tournament five times and have finished 2nd 14 times.
